“Lighthouse” is the new single from producer KAMI-O & rapper CRPNTR.

It follows the single “Vimto” which was released at the end of 2021 to excellent reviews, and is the prelude to an EP which is scheduled for summer 2022.

“Lighthouse” is dark, brooding and full of mournful metaphor and nautical imagery, built on KAMI-O’s unsettling, pulsing palate.

Gimme stripes gimme pats on the back if I’m back from where
the blue blacks batter my calves
I’m drawn to tryina save you as I steer you away
Plot the coral for your bearing with a cheers and a wave
(Years in the cave cheers fearsome escape)
Lemme get to know survivors by a vanishing sail
Get busy for the bosun where the manatee failed
Wrist clip the ocean (spit) gorilla screech nudge you north
